You can request deletion of your Piazam account at any time. This page explains exactly what we remove, what we are required to keep, and the two ways to start the process. There is no charge to delete your account.
When you delete your account, the following are permanently removed:
Past orders are anonymized but retained for 6 years to comply with the Ghana Revenue Administration Act 2016 (Act 915), which requires merchants to keep financial records for that period.
For each retained order, we strip out identifying details (name, phone, house number, digital address) and keep only what we need for tax filings:
Anonymized orders cannot be linked back to you.
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the app:

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, send a deletion request from the email address linked to your account:
Sending from your account email is how we verify the request. We will never ask for your password.
